Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iTECHMobile (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our remote Android repair platform, including the USB Client and Technician Dashboard.

Last updated: November 2025
Applies to: itechmobile.site · dashboard.itechmobile.site · iTECHMobile USB Client

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to diagnose and repair your device and to operate our platform.

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact information – such as your name, email address, and optionally your phone number or billing address.
  • Account / technician details – when you apply as a technician, we may collect information about your repair experience and business.
  • Support communications – emails and other messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Device & diagnostic information

When you run the iTECHMobile USB Client and connect your Android device, the client may collect:

  • Basic device identifiers (model, manufacturer, OS version, build information).
  • Technical status data needed for diagnostics (boot state, available storage, error codes, logs where applicable).
  • Connection and session identifiers used to route your device to a technician securely.

We do not deliberately copy the personal content of your device (such as your photos, messages, or personal documents) as part of standard repairs. However, technicians may see your screen during live sessions, similar to handing your phone to a physical repair shop.

1.3 Usage & analytics data

  • Log data about how you use our website, client, and dashboard (pages viewed, buttons clicked, timestamps).
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and error logs.
  • High-level, anonymized statistics about repair success rates and common issues.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the iTECHMobile USB Client and Technician Dashboard.
  • To diagnose issues on your device and estimate repair success probability and pricing.
  • To route your repair session to an available, whitelisted technician.
  • To process payments and deliver invoices or receipts.
  • To improve our AI diagnostics and repair procedures, using aggregated and anonymized data when possible.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of the platform.
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With technicians: device and diagnostic information, and relevant contact details, so they can perform your repair and communicate about the job.
  • With service providers: trusted third parties that help us operate the platform (for example: hosting, analytics, logging, tunnel providers, and payment processors).
  • For legal reasons: if required to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests, or to protect our rights, users, and systems.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continuity of privacy protections.

4. Payments & third parties

Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. When you enter your payment information, you do so directly on the provider’s secure pages. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Our platform may also rely on Firebase (for real-time data), ngrok (for secure tunneling), and other infrastructure or analytics providers. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

5. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted tunnels for remote repair connections (for example via ngrok).
  • Access controls and whitelisting for technician accounts.
  • Logging and monitoring of key actions in the Technician Dashboard.
  • Use of reputable third-party providers for payments and infrastructure.

However, no system can be completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored through our services.

6. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to:

  • Complete your repair and related support.
  • Maintain legitimate business records (for example, invoices and transaction logs).
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, or accounting obligations.

Where feasible, diagnostic data may be aggregated or anonymized for long-term statistical analysis and AI improvement.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, such as:

  • Accessing the personal information we hold about you.
  • Requesting corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Requesting deletion of your personal information, subject to legal constraints.
  • Objecting to or restricting certain types of processing.

To exercise any of these rights (where available), contact us at itechinfomtl@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

8. Children’s privacy

iTECHMobile is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (for example, by highlighting changes in the app or on our website).
